Great visit. Came with a large party of 9 and they were happy to accommodate us outside with only a 2 hour notice. It ended up being a slower visit (about 4 hours total) and wish we had been bought more water for the table. Overall if you're a small batch beer fan or wanted to sit and enjoy a tasty meal in a nice patio setting this is a great spot to visit. We ordered a variety of dishes and shared everything. The stand outs of the night were the Mac & Cheese, and Pompano. The Mac and cheese uses the best noddle possible cavatappi! Perfectly cooked with a thick cheese sauce and topped with toasted breadcrumbs. Absolute must try! The Pompano was covered in a rich sun-dried tomato cream sauce which paired nicely with the crawfish layered on top. The pompano itself is more of a meaty fish like swordfish and the potion size was more than enough for a normal person to leave satisfied. Looking forward to coming back again, watching the sunset and ordering more of that Mac & Cheese.
You can have the best food ever, but it absolutely takes people like Liz, Leshawn and Jamar to really seal the deal! Go here. Sit at the oyster bar. Have the best birthday celebration ever! Second time here. This time for my birthday celebration. Sat at the oyster bar. Vodka Martini made exactly the way like it. I asked for a nice hit of vermouth, and there it was. Excellent sangria for Karen. Had roasted oysters, oysters on the half shell, Ulele burger, incredible fries, slaw and stacked key lime for dessert. Black coffee and Cafe Americano. Never had anything like the roasted oysters. They were spectacular! Oysters on half shell, the absolute best. The fries... my gold standards have always been McDonald's (when they were still frying with beef tallow in the early years) and Le Halles pommes frites fried in duck fat. Ulele's fries were right up there. Crispy golden brown on the outside, fluffy hot on the inside, not a hint of grease... What can I say. I love a good french fry. More than the amazing food though... while at the oyster bar, we chatted with Leshawn (shucked the oyster) and Jamar (oyster roaster par excellence). Great guys! We shared a lot about the food and birthdays, kids and being locals. Our server Liz was absolutely over the top. She was right on every step of the way. The birthday chocolates were a great surprise. Ask for Liz. One of the best servers ever! As if that wasn't enough, we were half way to our car (about fifty yards away from the restaurant) and someone said "Hey. There's someone chasing you." I turned around and it was Liz running at full speed. I forgot my hat and she was bringing it to me.
Jake was incredibly attentive and made sure we had an amazing time. The fire roasted chicken was perfectly portioned and tasted amazing. My girlfriend has dietary restrictions and loved her meal! 10/10 come back for Jake!
Chose this place for my birthday dinner for the location. Great atmosphere, and great vibe. I was greeted immediately, and sat outside by preference all the way to the back right , but in front of the fan which would be great had it not blown so hard. But thankfully my waitress was kind enough to offer to turn it down a bit. I had mahi mahi and loved everything that was given, the corn was a great addition to the fish, but the spinach was very bitter. I had a Moscow mule as my beverage, along with water. I was even given a signed birthday card by some staff members and box of little chocolates as a treat, which was a nice touch. The waitress was efficient and friendly, the wait time was a bit long but an over all delightful experience.
Was pleasantly surprised. I got a grain based dish with shaved carrots and a mushroom steak type of thing. Really good and excellent leftovers. I do wish they had slightly more veggie options. The bread pudding for dessert was great-- sweet and decadent and fresh and a little runny but this is a good thing. The Mac and cheese was also pretty good and they gave a decently sized portion for an appetizer. The drink was not my favorite, it was like an orange lemon creamsicle margarita or something (I forget). It was sort of strong but there was a lot of ice. Not very mixed. The service was good but not the most attentive and the atmosphere is fairly loud, with an industrial vibe and dimly lit.
I came here for a "Meet the Parents" Dinner. My Bf's mom seems to really love this place and I can see why. The place is busy and has a bustling noise to it. We were seated upstairs and had great service the whole time we were there. For appetizers we got the Fried Green Tomato "BLT" and the Gator Tail. This was my first trip to Florida so my first time trying gator tail and I honestly loved it. Tastes like chicken. For my entree i got the chef's steak which was very flavorful and juicy. I could do without the green beans because they were pretty undercooked. My boyfriend ordered the seafood risotto which came with scallops, lobster, and crawfish tail meat. It was very delicious. we also ordered two cocktails: pina con fuego and ring of fire. Both were very delicious, I would recommend ordering these.
Let's start off by saying the oysters and gator tail are must haves. Our waitress Danielle was great! She was killing it. We also had the ulele burger and a frose! Very yummy. The place is super cute and has a great outdoor area with ocean views.
